Page High School's boys golf team broke its own school record with a 261 at the Region 5-AA championships Tuesday, Sept. 29. The two-time defending state champion girls posted a 142 to complete the sweep at Franklin Bridge Golf Club, sending both squads to the TSSAA Class AA state tournament.

Both teams will compete at Sevierville Golf Club on Thursday, Oct. 8, and Friday, Oct. 9.

The boys' 261 beat the previous school record of 272 by 11 strokes. That mark was set in 2022 and matched at the District 10-AA tournament on Sept. 23, according to the Williamson Herald. Four of Page's five boys finished under par: junior Reid Bostelman and junior Brayden Bennett each shot 64, senior Jake Eickhoff carded a 65, and Carson Jenkins added a 68. Hudson McDowell rounded out the lineup with a 73.

Bostelman won the individual title by birdieing a one-hole playoff against Bennett after the two teammates tied at 64.

"I got up there and just hit it close to the hole. I stood over that three-foot putt, and it went in somehow," Bostelman told the Williamson Herald.

Page head coach Mike Orr said the boys "locked in when they had to." The program finished as state runners-up in 2022 and has now qualified in four consecutive seasons after just three previous appearances in school history, the Herald reported.

Eickhoff, a Nebraska commit and Tennessee Junior PGA champion, won the district individual title on Sept. 23. His father, Jamie Eickhoff, built both the boys' and girls' programs before handing the reins to Orr this season.

On the girls' side, sophomore Shashe Ekker won the individual regional title with a 68, her second straight individual championship after taking the district crown with a 74 on Sept. 23. Elizabeth McCann shot a 74 and Stella Edwards posted an 86 for the Patriots.

The girls are chasing a third consecutive state title. Page won the Class AA championship in both 2024 and October 2025, and Jamie Eickhoff was named TSSAA Girls Golf Coach of the Year for the 2025 title, according to a Williamson County Schools announcement. Orr took over the program this season.

Two other area golfers punched individual tickets to state on the boys' side. Centennial sophomore Henry Rackley shot a 67, and Independence's Jeb Blackburn won a five-hole playoff against his twin brother Ben after both shot 69. WCS Sports Conference confirmed the result on X, posting that Jeb "beats his brother Ben to advance as an individual to state."

Brentwood junior George Laskaris also qualified individually with a 66. On the girls' side, Nolensville sophomore Audrey King (74), Nolensville senior Rika Arnett (75) and Ravenwood senior Annabelle Walton (75) earned state berths.

Both Page teams play at Sevierville Golf Club on Oct. 8-9, where the girls will try to become the first Page squad to win three straight state championships.
