The Factory at Franklin will open its campus to trick-or-treaters on Wednesday, Oct. 28, with a free afternoon of candy, live entertainment and children's activities.

The Trick-or-Treat Trail runs from 3 to 6 p.m. at 230 Franklin Road. No tickets are required. Costumes are encouraged.

Children can follow a trail from building to building across the campus, collecting candy and surprises at each stop, according to the event listing. The afternoon also includes a magic show by Richard Green, known as The Modern Conjurer, face painting, games, a photo booth and carousel rides.

Anna Skates of The Department of Curious Things, a local creativity and literacy program, will lead a storytime session.

"Any time that we can be a central hub for a community event … we try to seek out those opportunities," Claire Francis, The Factory's marketing director, told Williamson Scene in September.
