Thirteen Middle Tennessee performers ages 60 and older will compete at the Franklin Theatre on Oct. 6 in the 2026 Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent Finals.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. at 419 Main St. in downtown Franklin. Finalists hail from Franklin, Brentwood, Spring Hill, Columbia and surrounding communities, according to the Morning Pointe Foundation.

The lineup covers a wide range of acts. Audiences can expect various genres of singing, opera, ventriloquism, ukulele and other instrument performances, plus a 1960s-style music group.

The Morning Pointe Foundation, a nonprofit, presents the event in partnership with Morning Pointe Senior Living. Proceeds fund scholarships for students pursuing careers in nursing, culinary arts, therapy and social work. The foundation also offers free caregiver education programs for families.

Miranda Perez, executive director of the Morning Pointe Foundation, said the show gives older adults a chance to share talents they have spent years developing.

"We hope Middle Tennessee will come out, fill the Franklin Theatre and cheer them on," Perez said.

The foundation partners with four Middle Tennessee colleges: Columbia State Community College, Lipscomb University, TCAT Dickson–Williamson County and Motlow State Community College. Those partnerships help prepare students for careers in healthcare and senior care across the region.

In 2025, the foundation raised $325,000, drew more than 12,250 attendees to its events and awarded 30 scholarships across five states.

The Franklin Theatre, part of the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, seats audiences along historic Main Street. Tickets for the Oct. 6 show are available through the Franklin Theatre box office.
