New Williamson County Mayor Andy Marshall will make his first appearance at Franklin Tomorrow's Breakfast with the Mayors on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
The nonprofit rescheduled the event to accommodate a conflict in Marshall's calendar. It is the final installment of the 2026 series. Franklin Mayor Dr. Ken Moore is also scheduled to attend.
The free breakfast will be held at Rolling Hills Community Church in Franklin. Doors open at 7 a.m. for a coffee social, with the program beginning at 7:45 a.m. Organizers ask attendees to register through Humanitix to help with breakfast planning.
Marshall won the Williamson County mayor's race on Aug. 6, tallying 30,471 votes to challenger B.K. Muvvala's 12,707, according to the Williamson Herald. He succeeded Rogers Anderson, who held the seat for 24 years. The July 28 breakfast served as Anderson's final appearance in the series.
"Looking forward, there's a lot in front of us. There's a lot to do," Marshall said on election night, Aug. 6, at Gray's on Main in downtown Franklin. "I'm excited about it."
The Breakfast with the Mayors series was one of the civic engagement programs the National Civic League cited when it named Franklin a 2026 All-America City in June. Doug Linkhart, the league's president, said at the time that in Franklin, engagement "doesn't stop after the polls close."
Gresham Smith, Pinnacle Financial Partners and Ascension Saint Thomas are presenting partners for the event, according to Franklin Tomorrow's event page. Parking is available in the North Lot at Rolling Hills Community Church; attendees should follow event parking signs.
