Grammy-winning country artist John Berry and Celtic Woman vocalist Chloë Agnew headline the next Deborah Allen & Friends Sunday Gospel Matinee at the Franklin Theatre on Sunday, Oct. 11.
Doors open at 2 p.m. and the show starts at 3 p.m. at the 300-seat venue at 419 Main St. in downtown Franklin, according to Williamson Source. Tickets and details are available at franklintheatre.com.
Deborah Allen, the Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter known for "Baby I Lied" and "Rock Me," hosts the series. She launched the gospel matinee in May and has staged several installments since, each with a different roster of performers.
The format swaps out the artists' usual setlists for gospel songs, spiritual favorites and personal stories. Allen wrote on X on Monday, Oct. 5, that she and Morris Family members Savannah and Sam Morris plan to honor Dolly Parton in song during the Oct. 11 show.
@DeborahAllen3: "Join us Sunday, October 11, 2026 at the Beautiful Franklin Theatre for Deborah Allen & Friends Sunday Gospel Matinee! PS… Savannah Morris, Sam Morris and I will be honoring our beloved Dolly in song."
Berry, whose country hits include "Your Love Amazes Me" and "Standing on the Edge of Goodbye," has made faith and family recurring themes in his career. Agnew gained international recognition as an original member of Celtic Woman and now blends Celtic, classical and inspirational styles in her solo work.
Jesse and Noah Bellamy round out the bill. They are the sons of David Bellamy of the Bellamy Brothers and are building a contemporary sound rooted in country music. The Morris Family, a regular fixture of the series, will perform its own selections and provide harmonies throughout the afternoon.
The Franklin Theatre, an Art Deco-inspired nonprofit venue built in 1937, is owned and operated by the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County.
